Job Description

Our client in Auburn are seeking Thermoforming Operators. This position is responsible for carrying out production activities. Candidates will inspect, pack and conduct machine operation duties. Operators will work 12 hours/4-day shift rotations with overtime as needed/ required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Setup thermoforming machinery and ensure all materials are readily available

+ Follow all standard work instructions and safety guidelines

+ Effectively monitor production equipment

+ Must be able to assist with training of new employees to make sure they are packing according to spec sheet

+ Ensure machine is operating at or above established forming standards

+ Other duties and projects as assigned

Competencies: Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly; comprehend written and verbal instruction. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to learn and understand manufacturing computer applications. Follow instructions. Work as a member of a team as well as independently. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to co-workers and all levels of management. Education and/or Experience: High School or equivalent preferred. Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred but optional. Physical Demands: Constant and frequent standing and/or walking. Fine hand manipulation, hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Occasional lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
