This is a full time, exempt position.

Responsibilities:• Develops and implements clinical goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. • Directs and evaluates departmental operations including performance management, staff satisfaction and conflict management. Performs and oversees recruitment, payroll, staff huddles/meetings and education/competencies for staff. • Plans and monitors regulatory compliance. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. Manages complaints and conflicts through to resolution. • Provides direct patient care as needed to support the team and the patient experience including patient rooming, nurse visits, back-up triage, and impatient calls.
The ideal candidate will have:• Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain same in a timely fashion, required • A minimum of 3-5 years direct care nursing experience, preferred • Previous management/supervisory experience, required • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment • Outpatient/practice-based experience is preferred • Attention to detail and strong leadership skills • Proven and demonstrated critical thinking skills • Strong and effective written and oral communication skills
