Experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Express Care – Part Time

MaineGeneral Medical Center,

central Maine’s premier integrated health delivery system has express care

clinics in Augusta, Waterville and our new facility in Gardiner with

extended weekday and weekend hours. We are seeking a part time, experienced

Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Express Care team.

This person will report to

the Medical Director of Express Care and be supported by primary care

physicians, medical assistants, and nursing staff. Two years’ experience

as an NP/PA in ED, Urgent Care or Primary Care is preferred.

Maine NP license and DEA required. ACLS and PALS preferred. Experience in

telehealth is helpful, but not required. Clinic hours are M-F 8am-7:30pm

(12-hour days), weekends 8am to 5pm (9-hour days), all holidays except Christmas

and Thanksgiving.

Strong communication and

customer service skills, computer literacy: Word processing, EMR, and email. We

are seeking a strong collaborator with excellent clinical and case management

skills.
