Night shift hours are 4:00 pm – 2:30 am

Over-time and weekend work is expected.

Summary

Perform various assembly and inspection activates in a clean and controlled light manufacturing environment.
Over-time and weekend work is expected.
Performs work required for the assembly of components, devices, and/or the final product depending on the trade assigned. Ensures quality of product. Certified to work in at least one major production area (assembly, inspection (Pick & Place), card drying, label printing).
Employees in this class are expected to exercise independent judgment in the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Performs work required for the assembly of components, devices and/or the final product with supervision
Performs routine work in all production areas with limited supervision
Ensures quality of product through the use of standard operating procedures, templates, training and supervision, and good judgment
Must perform all duties in a professional manner and work as a member of a team
Must adhere to all Company policies and procedures
May be subject to call back or extended hours as required
Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Perform various assembly and inspection activates in a clean and controlled light manufacturing environment.
Employees are required to wear gowning such as; hairnets, beard nets, lab coats, and for specific task also gloves, face masks, and hoods.
Use of inspection tools such as a lupe (graduated magnifying glass) for discrete measurements, custom templates (over-lays), or operate customized testing equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and carry out assigned tasks in a professional manner.
Over-time and weekend work is expected.
