If the responsibility of instilling a lifelong love of learning excites you, then we encourage you to apply for our Full-Time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher Position at St. Elizabeth’s Child Development Center in downtown Portland, Maine. The Special Education Teacher is the high-level professional person who provides developmental and educational services to children and families in the classroom setting.

Qualifications:

  • Eligible candidates shall have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education with a “Teacher of Students with Disabilities Birth to School-Age 5 (282)” certification.
  • Shall have at least three (3) years of experience in early childhood or childcare and experience providing Specially Designed Instruction to children with a broad range of disabilities.
