Job Description

Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their social services team. The right candidate would be responsible for medication management, assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients with mental health disorders and behavioral issues living within a facility. This position does include travel to the various facilities located in Skowhegan, Augusta, Bowdoinham, and Auburn.

The hours are Monday – Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. No weekends are required! The pay for this position is $25/hr with a $4000 Sign-On Bonus, plus mileage is paid at $.40 per mile.

Other benefits: This employer pays 100% of the employee’s health, dental and vision insurances. They are also offering a 401k plan, 6 paid sick days, 8 paid holidays, and vacation time after 6 months.

Responsibilities:

Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
Medication Management
Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Qualifications:

Previous Registered Nurse experience
Valid Drivers License, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance that meets Maine’s legal requirements.

Familiarity with medical software and equipment

Ability to build rapport with patients, as well as friendly, and caring
