Job Description

Temporary 2020-2021 logging season position from 06/05/2020 to 4/01/2021. Logging Tractor Operator: (Grapple Skidder) Operates a track or tire mounted grapple skidder. Bunches logs or pulpwood according to species and size & hauls it to roadside and or yard. Piles logs or pulpwood by species & size in orderly piles. Must be able to perform minor maintenance & repair on equipment. Must have ability to safely operate machine in mountainous, rocky and steep terrain. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather condition. Must abide by landowner & employer rules. Must have ability to work, communicate and maintain work performance as a three member team. Machine is equipped with radio that worker must use as communication between team members. Must have six months paid reference production experience as a grapple skidder operator. Paid based on experience:
$16.00 for 6-35 months
$18.00 for 36-47 months
$19.25 for 48-71 months
$20.50 for 72 months or greater
