Manufacturing Kitchen Prep (York, Maine)

A successful food manufacturer in York is now looking to add to its industrial Kitchen Prep team! In this role, you will be part of creating a great product while working in a respectful team environment and enjoying perks such as employee discounts and freebies. Start your workday early and get out in time to spend the rest of your day as you please!

What’s in it for you?

Steady full-time, temp-to-hire employment

$14 per hour, paid weekly

Weekends and evenings off! Work 4:30am-1pm, Monday-Friday

Learn new skills by cross-training in multiple areas!

What will you be doing?

Assisting cooks with the cooking and processing of product, including preparation of raw materials

Measuring and preparing ingredients for cooks

Maintaining a clean work area throughout the shift

Following established policies and procedures to ensure safety and quality

What will you bring to the job?

Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50lbs at shoulder height

Ability to stand, lift, bend, and pull throughout the shift

Prior manufacturing experience is helpful; food manufacturing experience is a plus

Good math skills required; experience with weights, measures, and scales is helpful

Ability to operate electrical and manual pallet jacks and forklifts
