The position of Sr. Consultant has recently opened on the Change Healthcare Consulting Team.
Location: Remote/Telecommuter position. Requires up to 80% overnight travel.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities with new clients
- Identify additional opportunities in existing clients
- Participate in the business development and sales process (SOW, resource requests, project budget and other documents as needed)
- Responsible for full time service delivery
- Provide services to clients across three or more functional areas and service lines
- Responsible for client deliverable development
- Update Share Point for client sites on a timely basis (deliverables, communications, status reports)
A minimum of 8 or more years’ experience in healthcare related Operations, IT, and Consulting Services
Master’s degree in a field applicable to this position, i.e., Health Plan Administration, Business, or other related field. Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of equivalent experience may be substituted.
6+ years demonstrated ability to deliver customer service, delivery of consulting service, and the ability to contribute or lead a project and participate in one or more service lines.
6+ years of analytical experience is required in the implementation of core healthcare related applications, Care Management, or related health plan functional areas.
6+ years of expert use of HC related Core Claims Applications or Care Management, and related Ancillary applications
6+ years of familiarity with health plan processes and major functionality.
6+ years experience with Microsoft Office software tools including Visio, and SharePoint.
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills are required.
Travel of up to 80% is required for this position.
