Quality Assurance Specialist – Medication Carts

The Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for Medication Carts is an important member of our Sales and Account Management team. In this customer-facing role, you serve as an on-site representative of Guardian Pharmacy Services directly impacting our relationships with nursing homes, assisted living facilities and behavioral health group homes. The QA Specialist will own the medication cart maintenance program, including implementation and scheduling, quoting and ordering new medication carts, and adjusting the carts to accommodate medication packaging preferences. This is a unique opportunity to combine customer service skills and tech savviness to ensure our patients and residents receive their medications, in a timely and accurate fashion.

Day to Day duties include:

+ Customer relationship management

+ Professional, respectful and prompt customer communication via phone, e-mail or in-person

+ Serving as the expert medication cart advisor for troubleshooting issues and problem-solving, ensuring complete issue resolution

+ Collaborative partnership with all departments within the pharmacy

+ Requesting quotes and ordering new medication carts

+ Delivery and pick up of medication carts

+ Repair and clean medication carts

Requirements:

+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

+ Excellent computer skills, including routing and tracking software experience

+ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands

+ Demonstrated ability to coordinate workflow and assignments to achieve department objectives

+ Ability to analyze workflow and to implement improved systems

+ Mechanically inclined and intuitive; specifically, with vehicle mechanics and components

+ Must be eligible to drive company vehicles; minimum of 21 years of age

Education:

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Mechanical abilities preferred, but not required

Physical/Machinery Requirements:

+ Requires standing or moving from position to position for extended periods during shift

+ Must be available to work flexible schedule including some weekends, and on-call

+ Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, stand, move, turn, pivot, ascend or descend stairs

+ Ability to push, pull, lift or lower 50lbs

+ Ability to work in and drive a vehicle in an environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions
