WSP is currently initiating a search for a Structural Engineer II for our Eliot, Maine office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Lead Bridge Design tasks as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
+ Preparation of contract drawings, estimates and specifications
+ Preparation of design calculations for medium and long span bridge replacement projects.
+ Perform complex structural analysis
+ Perform load rating analysis and evaluation of existing structures for repairs/retrofits.

- Job Requirements
+ BS degree in Civil Engineering
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience on bridge transportation projects.
+ Proficiency with MaineDOT, VTrans and/or NHDOT standards, specifications and procedures.
+ Proficiency with structural analysis software
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
+ Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering
+ Active in Professional Societies
+ BrIM and CADD software capabilities
