The primary responsibility of this position is balancing a range of operational obligations that support and complement the direct selling activities for Financial Services opportunities including:
+ Coordination of and ownership of all activities associated with pre and post sales activities, including financing origination through contract end
+ Operations focal for Financial Services Sales & Managed Services Sales and Engineering
+ Liaison between the Sales Teams, Client, Contracts, Services, Internal Services, and Finance to ensure customer satisfaction in all areas
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
+ Partners and collaborates with Client Executive and/or Sales Specialist to oversee all pre and post sales activities associated with an Client’s entire spend with Sirius, ensuring operational areas meet or exceed the CE/Client’s transactional specifications (eg: proposal and invoice formats, order status communication detail, etc.) and timeline requirements.
+ Responsible for all activities associated with a product sales opportunity including credit evaluation and approval, operational deal structure, registrations, configuration request to vendor/distributor and/or collaboration with SSA-Brand Specialist, proposal generation, pricing and order booking. Oversees order fulfillment and invoice/payment reconciliation activities.
+ Communicates with Client on behalf of the Client Executive (including leading or participating on Client calls) in order to gather additional information needed to win and complete the sale, such as: configuration, revision or proposal detail, and/or required order fulfillment information. Independently handles or collaborates with operational peers to resolve Client disputes across all operational areas (eg: quotes, procurement, shipment, malfunctioning equipment, invoicing, etc.).
+ Proactive in adhering to CRM business processes that capture all support tasks throughout the transaction’s lifecycle
+ Completes ad hoc requests or provides additional, non-standard support as needed for and determined by the Client and/or CE. (eg: Custom quote or order tracking reports, spend/trend reporting, sf.com forecast assistance, etc.)
+ Adheres to all SLAs for Operations team
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ At least one (1) year operations experience, such as purchasing or order tracking, in a business-to-business environment, OR successful completion of the Sirius Operations Associate training program
Other Position Requirements
+ Proven results in multi-tasking, oral and written communication, listening, adaptability, and time management
+ Ability and willingness to work nights/weekends as required to meet client and/or business needs
+ Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts and ability to learn to execute financial calculations (time value of money: PV, FV, interest, payments)
+ Experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales, Purchasing, and/or Accounting utilizing common business practices related to purchasing, pricing, and payment for commodities and services
+ Experience with Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel (including formula function)
+ Experience with record keeping functions
+ Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
+ Demonstrated follow through skills
+ CRM experience
+ Associates or higher degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
+ Sales support experience in the IT industry
