Statement of the Job:
Purpose: The School of Nursing aims to fill adjunct instructor vacancies in Family Nurse Practitioner Program, Reproductive and Gynecologic Health course
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the adjunct instructor is to work in collaboration with the Graduate and/or FNP Program Coordinator to provide education and supervision of students in the didactic and clinical setting.

- Current licensure as an APRN and RN in the State of Maine, or eligibility for Maine licensure
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or area of specialty.
- Ability to develop students in the ongoing enterprise of advanced practice education of primary care nurse practitioner graduate students
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a family nurse practitioner or area of specialty required; the faculty must have documented expertise in his/her area(s) of teaching responsibility.
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Doctoral degree preferred
