SaviLinx has a newly created position for a Marketing & Communication Specialist. The candidate will join the Business Development team of this fast-growing company to support both external and internal marketing and communications activities.
You are: creative and interested in generating and trying new ideas, flexible and able to switch gears within the day and sometimes the hour, able to work independently and as part of a team, and willing to pitch in where necessary.
Under the direction of the Director of Business Development, this role will:
Discover and respond to media and award opportunities. Draft and issue press releases, contributed editorial pieces, and award entries.
Refine and execute social media strategy. Maintain all social media accounts and create social media content that reflects our culture, voice, and brand.
Support the recruiting teams with an array of creative and strategic options including social media posts, advertising, and events.
Help develop and execute a digital marketing strategy for prospect advertising. Track and analyze marketing data, including campaign results, conversion rates, and online traffic in order to improve future marketing strategies and campaigns.
Create and send client email newsletters, campaigns, and other prospect and customer outreach activities.
Research, plan, and coordinate both internal and external events.
Develop and implement marketing plans, maintain marketing calendar.
Create collateral and presentations, and assist with client proposals when needed.
Maintain the website, including writing blog posts and web copy.
Three or more years of marketing experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate or agency environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite, CRM, and email marketing software.
Working knowledge of Wordpress and Google Analytics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Highly organized and detail oriented.
