Job Description Summary:

This position will provide over site for Front Desk, Bellman, and Amenities Operations.Position is seasonal, April-October.

Job Description:

Areas of Responsibility:

Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing exceptional hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations

+ Schedule Front Desk, Bell Staff, Children’s program provider, complete weekly time sheets

+ Manage / monitor guests use of all amenities including all associated paperwork, record and maintain amenity inventories

+ Attend weekly managers meetings

+ Assist with guest problems and complaints, including billing questions, room moves , safety deposit boxes, lost and found, internet/printing/fax request

+ Train FD and Night Audit staff

+ Compile/assist bus tour billing / Greet bus tours(unless handled by others )

+ Meet and greet guests

+ Ensure that the FD maintains a thorough checks and balance system for cash flow each day

+ Communicate with other departments daily to stay informed of daily events , potential problems, or things that are going well

+ Work with the FD staff to maximize the revenue for the Inn’s inventory each night

+ Facilitate delivery of guest gift baskets / wedding gift bags

+ Facilitate parking assistance , dock assistance, guest transportation to and from events /restaurants

+ Work with Kids Camp Director to schedule camp and complete posting of charges

+ Implement / execute various sales incentives

+ Ordering and management of gift shop inventory

+ Management of all e-mail inquiries

+ Liaison with reservations, sales and catering for group events

+ Liaison for Night Audit and reconciliation of daily shift summaries

+ Proficient in RDP, Excel and MS Word
