Job Description

Reports to: Job Site Supervisor


Essential Functions:

Assist onsite supervisor, completing job on time and in a safe manner
Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, State and company hazardous materials laws and policies
Ability to understand and follow directions
Ability to work as a team member as well as work independently
Focused on SAFETY at all times
Excellent communication skills verbally and in written form
Organized, hardworking and motivated
Strong team player with positive attitude


Clean-up hazardous waste materials, debris
Operate hand and mechanical tools ex: air hammer
Cleaning and preparing project sites
Erect scaffold
Able to properly fill out required daily paperwork
Normal working hours 7am 3:30 pm; potential to work nights/weekends
Hard working and motivated


This is an hourly nonexempt position.


Travel primarily within, but NOT limited to, New England job site locations


OSHA 10 or higher construction training required
Asbestos Worker License preferred
Asbestos Training required
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly is required
Passing of pre-employment post-offer physical required
Knowledge of state regulations required
Able to work outside during all seasons & weather is required


Hand and Foot Coordination: You need to be able to coordinate movements of your hands and feet in order oversee project.
Coordination: On busy construction sites, you must be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers.
Critical Thinking: Your job will require you to identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to problems in order to choose the one that is most likely to be successful with minimal supervision.
Ability to Work under Pressure: Must be able to manage and handle emergency situations, work pressure and stress
Attendance: must be able to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner; regular and prompt attendance are an essential job function
Working Conditions: ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, dust, rain, pollution and toxic atmospheres
PPE: Ability to wear required PPE, including respirator, and participate in OSHA-required medical surveillance programs as necessary
Heights: Ability to work at heights
Lifting: Able to pick up construction debris and able to lift 50 lbs. regularly, 100 pounds occasionally
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and talk or hear.
The employee is regularly required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and smell.
Vision: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
