Job Description

Essential Functions:

· Adhere to safety rules and regulations

· Learn how to efficiently perform set-up/tooling changeovers

· Perform visual and mechanical inspection of parts

· Learn techniques for troubleshooting equipment and tooling

· Perform SPC requirements

· Machine operation, loading and unloading of parts

· Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition

· Maintain quality standards

· Perform other duties as required or directed


High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Must display a strong mechanical aptitude
· Must be capable of learning set-up and troubleshooting of multiple equipment and/or processes· Must have demonstrated strong capability for working with a variety of gaging instruments, process sheets, and Statistical Process Control· Demonstrated shop math skills including decimals and conducting measurements with very close tolerances. · Ability to follow written and verbal directions· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently· Must be able to work a flexible schedule including temporary assignments, with advance notification provided, on alternative schedules for training of co-workers.

Job related demands (i.e. physical, travel):

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with presswork, machine tools, oils, and chemicals
Ability to conduct processes that are repetitive
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs without assistance
Ability to travel to vendor or customer sites
Ability to speak and listen to express ideas
