As an American Express Corporate Travel Counselor, you will join a team of other highly skilled Travel Counselors who provide exceptional traveler care to GBT corporate clients. You will deliver a premier service experience for our high-profile Business Travel Customers by providing consultative, creative and timely travel solutions, using available tools, technology operating on Sabre GDS . It is an exceedingly high touch service environment, where you will have true accountability for the service relationship and customer experience.

The role will form part of a highly skilled team of Travel Counselors working virtually from home that are be accountable for both individual and shared team goals, responsible for providing customer service and accurate completion of both international, domestic travel arrangements and special requests.

Progress

+ Respond positively to customers by making reservations for business travelers accurately and efficiently

+ Complete any service requests and sell related products such as car, air, hotel

+ Make the customer aware of their company travel policy, and communicate this to ensure adherence

+ Ensure customer traveler profiles and details are accurate

+ Provide advice on visa, passport and security requirements relating to the destination and confirm the issuing details for each reservation

+ Develop a solid understanding of the corporate travel industry, and the key drivers for our customers

REQUIREMENTS:

+ Minimum of 2+ years International Corporate experience

+ 3+ years of Sabre GDS system experience

+ Designated home office or space required

+ Travel Industry Certification (such as CTC/TICO/OPC/IATA) preferred but not needed
