Responsibilities

  • Performs preventive maintenance, adjustments, and basic repairs
  • Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems.
  • Working up to personal ability level in other Maintenance trades as needed.
  • Participate in an on call rotation that may require work outside of normal business hours.
  • May include occasional shift work including nights/holidays, weekends for special projects/events

Qualifications

  • High School/GED equivalency
  • Previous experience in an industrial or commercial facility is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work safely on complex pneumatic, piping, mechanical and structural systems.
  • Ability to work as team player with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn modern precision maintenance techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with computers in a Windows environment.

Skill areas that would be highly regarded:

  • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Knowledge of PLC controlled mechanical systems
  • Precision alignment
  • Welding (SMAW, TIG, MIG), HVAC, Plumbing
