Glenridge is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to fill our Clinical Specialist (RN) role. Join our team of award winning, highly engaged RN’s, LPNs, CNA-M’s and CNA’s in our 120 bed skilled and long term care facility that specializes in the care of patients with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
This position is full time, 40 hours per week, with a Monday through Friday, 6:45a-3:15p schedule. Occasional weekends & holidays required.
The Clinical Specialist (RN) supports the leadership team by assisting in the oversight of staffing, resource management, quality, performance improvement and clinical teaching & support. The Clinical Specialist not only serves as the Infection Preventionist for the facility, but also supports the clinical team on a day-to-day basis with problem solving, admissions/discharges, and following up with resident care concerns. The Clinical Specialist is very involved in QAPI (Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement), often serving as the lead on committees focused on improving clinical outcomes for our long term care residents.

The ideal candidate will have:• A current State of Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one in a timely fashion, required • At least 2 to 5 years of RN experience, preferred; LTC experience strongly preferred • Familiarity with QAPI, Infection Prevention, MDS, and LTC Regulations • Experience with Microsoft Excel & medical health records
