Wire Harness Assembler (Order#97747)

Job Summary:

The Wire Harness Assembler position in Sanford, ME is responsible for routing and tying wires to form wire harness used in electrical and electronic equipment or systems: reading instructions, such as work orders, diagrams, and wire lists to determine materials needed and sequence of assembly. This is a full time, temp to hire, 1st shift position. You will select wires of specified color, marking, or length, and loops wires between guide pegs on harness board, following color-coded lines or sequential numbers on board or diagram, and wrap and tie wires together at designated points to form harness, manually or using tie-wrap gun. You May apply sealing liquid to secure knots in ties, using brush, attach the ends of wires to components, plugs, or terminal strip, using soldering iron or crimping device, as well as insert cable in plastic tubing or inject plastic sealant around terminals to protect cable from dust and moisture. You’ll help test wiring and mark identifying data as needed. If you have a strong attention to detail and previous experience this may be the job for you!

Previous experience is required
High School Graduate
Must have blueprint reading experience
Detail oriented
Strong hand dexterity
Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Soldering experience is preferred
