Job Description


We are looking for a next generation leader to create and coordinate the emerging Cloud Hosting Infrastructure, and ensure alignment with all other business and IT Cloud strategies, initiatives, and programs (e.g., DR, Security, Solution Engineering, Common Core, etc.) Build and lead the cloud hosting infrastructure focused on accelerated cloud migration and adoption, and coexistence within a highly secure, container-based & native architecture. Responsible for creating, transforming and maintaining the firm’s Enterprise Technology Infrastructure and provide alignment across Networks, Storage, Compute, EUC, Virtualization, SDN, Cyber Security Engineering, Orchestration & Automation, Hybrid & Public Cloud Native Platform services.


Drive technical requirements to the Cloud Team, coordinate key vendor relationships, and provide business solutions to Humana end users.

+ Ensure successful execution of the company’s multi-year transformation of infrastructure and cloud application hosting

+ Create and manage the cloud hosting infrastructure roadmap, creating a simplified and modernization of infrastructure hosting environment

+ Align, integrate, and support decisions between the cloud infrastructure roadmap to the broader strategy

+ Develop, maintain, and assure synergy with all key cloud stakeholders

+ Define and build innovative solution methodologies and assets around cloud infrastructure migration and automation

+ Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud technology through partnerships, reinforced by Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery.

+ Represent IT Infrastructure in discussions for cloud investments and alignment to overall IT Strategy, including the governance structure of the Enterprise Cloud Strategy

+ Establish, define and transition cloud operational procedures to the operations execution team.

+ Define and implement governance and process for cloud infrastructure and software-defined infrastructure, including source code management and development methods

Required Qualifications

+ Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics required; Graduate level degree preferred.

+ Minimum of 10 years in a senior management position.

+ Experience operating a cloud-native environment, with demonstrated expertise in implementing secure cloud infrastructure hosting at scale

+ Technology experience, including IaaS/PaaS (Azure, Google Cloud or AWS), infrastructure automation/orchestration technologies

+ Extreme technical depth and track record.

+ A forward thinking, impactful technology executive with an innovative engineering focus and mind-set.

+ Strong leadership and C-Suite/Board communication skills.

+ Able to navigate a matrix environment.

+ Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

+ Additional desirable experience in collaboration, database/application server architecture, network, information security and IT operations/IT service management

+ Skilled at mentoring and motivating staff, communicating goals and other corporate initiatives and driving to results.
