The Cianbro Equipment Group is looking for an entry level engineer to join its formwork, shoring and scaffold department. The mission of the formwork group is to provide support to Cianbro’s ever-increasing presence across the country and to be a leader within the country for continuous improvements and safety. The successful candidate will design concrete formwork, shoring and scaffold systems, and will be a direct line of support for projects requesting materials and services.

Job Responsibilities:
Learn the Forming, Shoring and Scaffolding products that Cianbro utilizes.
Develop design drawings and supporting calculations to support our clients in the field.
Provide input and technical guidance to the customer.
Continue to improve skill sets, work flow, quality, safety and wellness.

Qualifications / Requirements:
BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis is required.
An EIT license is preferred.
S/he must be proficient in the use of AUTOCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, RISA and STAAD (or similiar design software).
Must be able to read and interpret prints.
Heavy civil experience including bridges, buildings and marine is preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Maintain positive relationships with all team members.
Must be able to obtain clearance to enter federal facilities.

Location:
Pittsfield or Portland, Maine. Occasional job site travel in or out of state.
