Description:
Few jobs come along that offer up the opportunity to learn and then employ state of the art treatment for youth with mental illness. Spurwink is currently looking for a unit director for their newly renovated and designed unit, located in Chelsea. The program provides a treatment intensive environment for children and adolescents with complex trauma, mental health diagnoses, and developmental disabilities. This setting serves children/adolescents on a campus based setting. The unit director works as part of a treatment team made up of professionals with years of clinical experience to design and implement evidenced-based interventions. This fun and challenging job is best suited for individuals who crave a fast pace, dynamic environment.
Starting pay for the unit director is $17/hour. Shifts are designed to be flexible to promote a positive work/life balance.

Qualifications:
Duties require knowledge equivalent to completion of a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years’ experience in a similar clinical setting and 2 years of administrative/supervisory experience required.
