If you consider yourself dependable, service-oriented, fun, and hard-working we want to meet you and give you a chance to join the L.L.Bean Custodial Services Team.Available positions are:Temporary, Full-Time 3rd shift Custodian in our Freeport locations.Successful candidates will perform general cleaning duties which include vacuuming, sweeping, washing floors, dusting, washing windows, cleaning lavatories, carpet maintenance, and other related duties. Successful Custodians must have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.If you enjoy being physically active and are a self-starter, please apply.

Position Purpose: Maintains cleanliness of assigned areas.Responsibilities:

+ Performs general cleaning duties to include vacuuming, sweeping and washing floors, dusting, washing windows, cleaning lavatories, carpet maintenance, etc.

+ Maintains designated recycling centers in assigned areas.

+ Communicates with internal customers regarding cleaning requests.

+ Performs special cleaning requests and projects as needed.

+ Assists with snow shoveling and sanding.

+ Operates cleaning equipment; buffer, extractor, and auto scrubber.

+ Reports facility-related problems/concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Knows and follows all safety rules and procedures. Reports any unsafe acts or conditions.

Employees are expected to be active participants in health and safety by following all safety policies and procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or at-risk behaviors to leadership, and conducting work in a safe manner. Those in a leadership role are also expected to model safe behaviors, evaluate risk, and ensure that risks are reduced to acceptable levels.Education Level: Less than High SchoolExperience: No Experience RequiredSkills and Qualifications:
