Production Technician \- Sprayer

Description

Praxair Surface Technologies \(PST\), a subsidiary of Praxair, Inc\., a Fortune 250 company that supplies atmospheric, process, specialty gases, high\-performance coatings, and related services & technologies is seeking a Production Technician /Sprayer in our plant located in Biddeford, Maine\.

Production Technicians / Sprayers are responsible for coating parts by spraying coating according to customer specifications and Sermatech Standard Practices including inspection of parts prior to application and finished products to determine and ensure parts are uniformly covered\. Sprayer / Production Technicians must be detail oriented, and have the ability to maintain the highest quality standards during spraying process\.\\

Production Technicians/Sprayers

+ Working safely is our number 1 priority\!\!

+ Operate spray gun

+ Adjust sprayer to regulate width and pressure

+ Inspects masked/taped parts prior to spraying

+ Inspects thickness of coated parts

+ Work in a dynamic teamwork environment

+ Communicate and work well in a diverse environment

+ Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ High School degree or equivalent is required

+ 1 year related experience required

+ Must be able to sit, stand, reach, stoop, or kneel

+ Must be physically able to regularly lift 10 lbs\. occasionally up to 50 lbs\.

+ Ability to follow detailed written instructions

+ Ability to calculate figures & apply concepts of algebra and geometry

+ Working extended hours and/or weekends may be required

Parts 730\-799, and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations \(“ITAR”\), 22 C\.F\.R\.
