Job Description

$Sign-On Bonus$ for experienced CNA meeting eligibility criteria! Our
Hospice House in Presque Isle, Maine has a great position for a
certified nursing assistant/home health aide wanting to make a positive
difference in someone’s life! You would be responsible for providing
personal care to patients in the hospice facility as directed by a
Registered Professional Nurse. In addition, you would be responsible for
para-professional aspects of care, patient safety, meal preparation and
housekeeping duties as directed. Utilizing the latest information
technologies and telecommunication systems, northern Light Health Home
Care & Hospice provides you with the opportunity to experience one of
the most gratifying forms of patient care. In addition you would play
an integral role in collaborating with other members of the patient care

A High School graduate or GED equivalency
Certification as a CNA on the Maine State CNA Registry
Certified as a HHA either through completion of an approved home health
aide training course or through competency testing, and evidence of
effective communication skills, using verbal, written and telephonic
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and agencyrequired
auto liability insurance.
Ability to travel in assigned service area.
