Job Description

Responsibilities

· Operates one of the following equipment based on the requirements of the project:

· Blade

· Dozer

· Loader

· Scraper

· Forklift/Telehandler

· Crane

· Bobcat/Skid-steer

· Boom Lifts/Aerial Lifts

· Roller

· Follows prescribed safety regulations

· Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area

· Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning

· Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction

· Follows work plans and pre-task cards

· Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Qualifications

· Strong teamwork orientation

· Strong belief in Safety practices

· Positive attitude and professional customer service skills

· Detail orientation

· Ability to move levers, shift gears,depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel to operator equipment

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction,procedure manuals, and load charts

· Knowledge of equipment and their uses

· Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, & multiplication)

· Strong teamwork orientation

· Positive attitude and professional customer service skills

· Ability to work independently

Education And Experience Requirements

· Equipment certifications as required

· A minimum of one year of related experience

· Must possess valid driver’s license of proper class and necessary endorsements as required by law

· Local candidates preferred

· Must be able to pass background investigation

· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
