Job Description Summary:
Responsible for managing events and ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to. Directscoordination of activities to prepare for the day of the event. Manages all operational,implementation, and post-event activities.
Responsibilities Include:Oversee the entire event and all staff responsible for event coordination activities.Coordinate details of events such as conferences, wedding, birthdays, anniversaries,charity events, parties, trade shows, sales meetings, and business meetings.Ensure proper communication and coordination to satisfy customer’s requests.Completes estimates and revisions as necessary. Collection of prepayments ascontracted at the estimate stage and final billing at the conclusion of the event.Greet customer and follow up to see that customer needs are met; make last minutechanges and additions to meet changing customer needs.Maintain proper documentation of events. Compile and review daily and weekly eventsheets to include setup diagrams with each event.Establish staff schedules, task assignments, equipment allocation to ensureconformance with department objectives and goals.Define event goals, objectives, and specific implementation plans.Provide post-event analysis, budget recaps and participant feedback.
