Location:Lewiston, ME

Employment Type:Full Time

Spurwink seeks a highly collaborative, creative and flexible clinician to join our ShifaME program. This is a program that serves refugee and immigrant children and families impacted by traumatic stress. This is a team based model in which clinicians and Cultural Brokers work together in mental health service delivery. We are seeking social workers who enjoy a combination of school based work and home based work.

The salary range 41,000 (conditionally licensed) – 43,000 (independently licensed). This position includes a $2000 snnual stipend.

Many positions include sign on bonuses that are available to full-time newly hired staff. The first half of the sign on bonus ($1250) will be paid after 90 days of full-time employment and the second half of the sign on bonus ($1250) will be paid after six months of full time employment. If a new hire changes status to either part-time or per diem status during any of that timeframe, they will forfeit the sign on bonus that is yet to be paid.

The ShifaME clinician will provide a combination of school based, home based and community based services to refugee children and their families.
